Balicasag Island

Located off Panglao Island in Bohol, is an island called Balicasag. 1.5 hectares out of its total 25 hectares have been developed into a resort. The island's crystal blue waters provide a clear, vivid view of its corals, fishes and other marine life.
Balicasag Island has long been considered one of the best dive spots in the country. Only 45 minutes away by boat from Panglao, the visibility is incredible, the coral cover is excellent and fish are abundant. Large fish found here include barracuda, jacks, parrot fish and garoupa. However, the tourists in the area have severely devastated the natural coral reefs in Balicasag.

The resort is frequented by divers, foreign and local. It has a dive shop which offers instructions on scuba diving.

Naturally ventilated, native-inspired duplex cottages have private baths. Its cozy restaurant serves local and international cuisine.
Of interest are shells and fresh fish that are sold by the islanders to guests of the resort.
